IT SYSTEMS & NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR

Position Overview
We’re looking for a reliable, highly organized IT Systems & Network
Administrator to support our growing business. This role is hands-on,
responsible for maintaining approximately 50 workstations, managing company
servers as well as liaison to outsourced managed services, and ensuring that all
employees stay connected and productive.
This is a key position for our company — you’ll be the go-to person for all things
tech: troubleshooting issues, maintaining systems, improving reliability, creating
policies/procedures and helping us scale as we grow.
Key Responsibilities
Workstation Setup & Maintenance:
- Install, configure, and maintain computers, laptops, and peripherals for employees.
- Perform regular software updates, virus scans, and backups.
- Support end-users with day-to-day IT issues quickly and
professionally.
Server Management:
- Some components of server management are performed by a third-party
company at a high level. Your role will be the primary liaison
between this third-party company and fill in the gaps in areas that
they do not cover or cannot cover fast enough for the situation. The long-term goal is to transition these services in-house. - Primary liaison to the third-party that provides services to maintain and
monitor on-premises and/or cloud-based servers (Windows Servers). -
Primary liaison to the third-party that provides services to Manage user
accounts, permissions, and data backups.
o Primary liaison to the third-party that provides services to keep systems
secure, up-to-date, and performing efficiently.
Network & Connectivity:

Maintain wired and wireless network connectivity across the facility
in multi-disciplined areas, such as Office, Guest, and POS. - Troubleshoot internet, switch, and firewall issues as they arise.

Coordinate with internet service providers and vendors to resolve
outages or upgrades.
System Security:

Ensure antivirus, firewalls, and backup systems are functioning
correctly. - Implement cybersecurity best practices for users and devices.

Monitor systems for vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
Additional Technology Management:
- Crestron devices for virtual meetings.

Sonos sound systems.
- Physical security management. ID cards, Access Levels, Monitoring.
- Production machine network connectivity.
- Creation of policies and procedures as it relates to Technology/Security Best Practices.
- Other duties as assigned.
Support & Growth:
- Provide responsive, friendly support to all employees.
- Maintain accurate IT documentation and inventory of devices.

Evaluate and recommend technology upgrades as the company
expands.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of hands-on IT support and system administration experience.

Solid understanding of Windows operating systems and network
fundamentals. -
Experience with servers, switches, routers, and basic network
troubleshooting. -
Comfortable supporting both hardware and software (printers, email,
Office 365, etc.). - Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Nice to Have Skills

Experience with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V) or cloud platforms

(Azure, AWS)Familiarity with VoIP, security cameras, or building access systems.

Basic scripting or automation knowledge (PowerShell, Bash).
