The Boning Butcher Knife’s blade is made from MagnaCut Stainless steel, known for its perfect blend of toughness, edge retention, and corrosion resistance.

To complement this premium steel, we've left the blade with an 'as ground' finish to give ease of use when slicing meat. It's the perfect combination of performance and quick cleaning, designed to withstand the demands of serious meat processing.

The Boning Butcher Knife sports our thickest, most comfortable knife handle to date. 

The chunky profile is a dream for larger hands and extended processing sessions. The handle scales — made from bulletproof G-10 — can withstand any abuse without cracking or breaking, won’t absorb blood, and provide excellent grip, even when wet. The thick G-10 scales combined with the comfortable handle was made to ensure the knife would be comfortable to use for long periods of time when processing large volumes of meat.

EXCLUSIVE MKC KYDEX SHEATH

Each Boning Butcher Knife comes with a USA Made, custom MKC Kydex sheath.

The sheath features a built-in retention screw to customize blade tension and allow for handle-down carrying. The Boning Butcher sheath also comes with a Kydex clip that allows you to carry your knife on a pack or belt loop, either horizontally or vertically.

    Honestly worth every penny.

    I’ve been using the Montana Knife Company boning knife for a few months now, and I’m seriously impressed.

    Very sharp right out of the box. I used it last weekend to trim up some ribeyes.

    It’s also super lightweight, so your hand doesn’t get tired if you’re working on a big pile of meat.

    ​It holds an edge for a really long time.

    Excellent

    I previously worked in the meat industry so I am comparing this against commercial meat cutting knives. Out of the box this knife is sharper than any I ever used. The handle texture and ergonomics are 100% better than any comparable knife I've used. Broke this in butchering a hog (which was skinned and gutted with my mini speedgoat). This knife performs!! Would highly recommend!!
