The Montana Knife Company™ edge grain cutting block is great for everyday use. This particular board features a juice groove to contain juices on the board. This board also features rubber feet on the bottom to provide a non-skid base and allow proper airflow around the board.

Now let’s get something out of the way right now. These things are heavy duty… I am talking HEAVY DUTY. Each board is almost 2 inches thick and weighs over 6 Pounds each of solid American grown wood.     This was a Birthday gift for my brother , when he received he called me up and said he loved it. Great looking board. Nice colors.

    2 main complaints about this board.

    1) the sanding job is not good at all. The surface is much rougher than any cutting board I have ever used.

    2) the sanding job is so bad that down the entire center of my board I can catch my fingernail where two of the boards were glued together. It’s a terrible finished product for the price.

    If those were better I would have no complaints. But for me to have a good quality finished product. I have to resand and finish the board.

    Oh and by the way I gave this a 2 star rating. Not a 4 star rating. Their system changed the rating. Interesting

    This cutting board is the best we have come across. My husband uses it everyday and the durability and ease of use is great. It doesn’t break down easy and it’s become a staple in our everyday lives. The ledge nicely catches juices from meats and I never spill when transferring from grill to table.
